President

Christopher, age 56, has moved to Mobile as Vice-Chairman of DTI Partners, Inc. and brings 35 years of Wall Street experience. He is the founder, President and controlling stockholder of Directional Research and Trading, Inc. established in 1999, which is registered with the CFTC as a commodity trading adviser (CTA) and a commodity pool operator (CPO).

From 2001 until 2003, Mr. Castroviejo was a Managing Director and a stockholder of Alpha Fund Management Inc., a New York State-registered investment adviser specializing in advising high net worth individuals and pension funds. From 1991 through 1998 Mr. Castroviejo was a General Partner and Director of Risk Control for T.C. Management Partners, a New York based firm that managed a combination of hedged and short only accounts.

Mr. Castroviejo has also been President of Sussex Asset Management, Inc., an asset allocation firm, from 1985 to 1990, and was founder and Managing Director of Sussex Securities from 1983-1985.

As a partner of the investment bank Bear Stearns & Company from 1980 to 1983, Mr. Castroviejo managed discretionary accounts and provided consultation services for hedge funds and institutions, with emphasis on market timing and financial futures. At Bear he founded the Computer Assisted Trading Group which pioneered the use of computer graphics for analysis of portfolio positions.

Mr. Castroviejo was a Managing Partner of Oldcastle Management from 1975-1978, and a Senior Vice-President at Gilbert M. Haas & Co. from 1974-1975, where he managed equity and debt portfolios for both taxable and tax-exempt clients, including pension funds and foundations. Mr. Castroviejo started his career at Smith, Barney & Co. in 1971, and was a principal at Faulkner, Dawkins & Sullivan.

Mr. Castroviejo earned a Master of Science in Business from Columbia University in 1983, where he was elected to Beta Gamma Sigma, and a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard College in 1971. He is the former Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sheltering Arms Children’s Service of New York, the largest nonsectarian child care agency in the city, and a former Trustee of the Fay School in Southborough, Massachusetts.

He served as a Trustee and member of the Executive Committee of the Center for Blood Research at Harvard Medical School and served as a Director of the Matinecock Neighborhood Association, the oldest civic association on Long Island.
