Chief Operating Officer
D.R. Barton, Jr. is Chief Operating Officer for the
Advisor. Mr. Barton founded Hezekiah, Inc., a private investment and consulting company in 1999. In 2000, he also co-founded One Minute Trader Corp., a financial training organization and has served as CEO since its inception. There, Mr. Barton created extensive and innovative new training products and taught extensively in many investment areas including cutting edge risk management techniques.
From 1998 to 2000, Mr. Barton was the co-founder and CEO of Membrane Solutions LLC, a water desalination business established as a DuPont incubator business. From 1995 - 2000, Mr. Barton served in various management and technical roles with DuPont where he introduced the privatized water plant concept and oversaw marketing organizations in the Americas and Asia.
Mr. Barton earned a Master of Business Administration in 1992 from the University of Delaware and Bachelors of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1984. Mr. Barton also earned his Professional Engineers license from the State of Delaware in 1989.
His writing credits include: the McGraw-Hill book Financial Freedom Through Electronic Day Trading by Van K. Tharp and Brian June in which he was co-creator and contributing author; and the McGraw-Hill book Safe Investing Strategies for Financial Freedom by Van K. Tharp and D. R. Barton, Jr. published in 2004 by McGraw-Hill.
